Pros

Fulfilling work in a community of like-minded people.

Cons

The management culture at Crunch is defined by systemic dishonesty and a blatant disregard for both employee well-being and consumer ethics. The "bait-and-switch" begins during the hiring process: promises regarding base pay and compensation for administrative tasks (like SGAs and phone calls) are routinely broken once you're on the floor. For students, the "flexible" 20-hour schedule that is promised is a myth, as management will suddenly change these requirements after getting you committed as an employee. The corruption extends to client interactions, where trainers are encouraged to use deceptive tactics, such as hiding 3-to-6-month contract lock-ins to boost sales numbers. Integrity is also non-existent at the leadership level. I witnessed management intentionally promise to process client cancellations and then later "forget" just to protect their personal commissions. Furthermore, lead distribution is governed by blatant favoritism from the PTD and front desk rather than merit. Even with top-tier client retention and proven physiological results, you will be passed over for kickoffs if you aren't part of the inner circle. It is a high-drama, transactional environment where senior leadership's directives change by the day, and your value is measured solely by the amount of money you can squeeze out of a client, not the quality of service you provide.

Pros

Most of the employees easy to work with. Dawn was also great to work for. Everyone's attitudes where absolutely great... minus 1

Cons

I was told I was going to be full time. I had quit my other job because I was asked to be more flexible. Yet the schedule was a set schedule 9 to 1 . 20 hours a week 9$ an hour after 6 months I asked when will I go full time. The response was the custodian positions are only part time. Yet it was listed as full. I was told to quit my job because I needed to be fully available.. ?dawn was not the hiring person who hired me. I came here today year of 2026 because I recently saw a job posting saying custodian positions full time.?... so in here warning because its exactly what I saw when I got hired... full time..... I made 180 a week. Befor taxes. There was one trainer who told me I needed to vacuum a dust bunny but there was a man working out there i asked him it's ok to vacuum he said let me do my set. She snapped her finger and said do it now 😳...the customer got up looked at me looked at her and said I honestly want to not be at this gym any more. Then looked at me and said I know your doing what your told .
