Pros
I've literally never worked with so many elite folks. Most companies have a large group of average talent with a few real "go getters". Crypsis has, and continues to build, a team of seriously impressive professionals.
There are very intentional steps taken to foster the professional growth of everyone in the company. The variety of work is as you'd expect with a DFIR firm, but Crypsis somehow seems to keep it interesting even when waves of similar cases come in.
The company takes specific care to help protect from burnout, unlike most companies working within the Incident Response realm. They respect the time that you put in, and reward you for going the extra stretch on cases and tasks.
Overall the balance I've found at Crypsis far exceeds any other entity that I have worked for.
Cons
This is still a growing company. Anyone who has been a part of that knows most of what that means. For those that haven't, expect some short term issues to periodically crop up. Growing companies often exceed capacity and infrastructure, and have people wearing a few hats at any given time. However, the positive side to this (at Crypsis) is that they don't hesitate to listen to suggestions, and take action to resolve those issues as the company grows. I expect this to be come a continuously smaller problem over time.
