In its prime, when there were 2 owners who provided in equal measures, culinary leadership and marketing leadership (divided equally between two owners), it was the best food and marketing consulting firm in the business with more than 40 world class manufacturing clients. After one of the partners suddenly departed due to the others shady business practices, the house of cards collapsed. One by one, talented seasoned chefs were fired in place of yearlings out of cooking school who were offered pennies on the dollar. CSSI has become a worthless marketing agency.
