      Pros

      Cannot actually think of anything other than getting to play with new technology.

      Cons

      Unrealistic expectations from management. Poor time management and rostering. Incredibly low pay for what you have to do. Operationally useless so more time is spent chasing up 'missing' stock than actually doing you're day job.
