Pros

Overall, most of the colleagues were good to work with and helpful... but that’s where the help ended as management does nothing to help those new to the company.

Cons

The first 2 weeks of “boot camp” are a great insight into what to expect... which includes finding out that this is a used car dealership in disguise, a boiler room in a “decorated” shell. Unfortunately, by the time you find out the truth, you’re already too far in to remove yourself from the challenge and back away from your commitment. The “president” of the ft worth office walks around intimidating the sales people, often times singling out mostly new people when he pleased. High turnover is an issue and is accepted by management and the president of the Ft. Worth Branch.

Pros

This company has a great culture from the top down. Management actually cares about their employees and their lives outside of work. D&M has a lot of tenured employees for a reason!

Cons

D&M is a truly unique company, and as such there can be a steep learning curve for some positions.

Pros

Great Work / Life balance! Ability to earn 6-figure income year after year! Promotes from within the organization! Management has a clear understanding as to what tools you need to be successful from 1 -3 years / 4 - 7 years / 7 to 10 years plus.

Cons

You have to forgive my bias thoughts on the word **Cons** as I just celebrated my 10th year work anniversary here at D&M Leasing - Fort Worth. I have read through all the posted reviews regarding: Micromanagement, Expensive Benefits, Intense Early Days, Commission Chargebacks & Turnover. If this list of stated **Cons** represents a 50-year-old world-class organization that cares about the success of each employee from day one. Then I am proud to represent that employer. For each Pro there is a Con. For each Con there is a Pro. We are all entitled to our own thoughts / opinions. But they should come from a place in which you have gone through it, worked through it, built something through it longer than a few months or a year or two. My only *Con* is that I should have relocated to Texas and found D&M 20 years ago and not 10 as this would have been my 20th work anniversary celebrated this month. wag3
