Pros
The CEO was nice and seemed genuinely interested to hear ideas. Decent benefits - keep in mind you may be going into dangerous environments. You will be successful if you are a white, middle aged, male. Anything else and expect to get push back.
Cons
I am sure there are people who are happy here, but this is my opinion. At first I thought death was a kinder punishment than working here. Then I realized if I die and do not go to heaven, DBA would be the devil. That would be a fate worse than death. This place is a complete nightmare. The reality is it's set up little better than a pyramid scheme. Turnover is insanely high - maybe it's due to growth, but I'm pretty sure it's mostly because most last 3 months. It seems like maybe 5% make it to the top. Anyone in management below the CEO will try to shut you up and smother you. Do not drink the kool aid. They will try to placate you by saying that if you're unhappy/unsuccessful, you must not be working hard enough. That only people who work "hard" succeed - they will suck the soul out of you, then they'll change the job requirements. The mantra of "this place will reward you if you just work hard enough" - where do you draw the line? Is it before or after you travel 6.5 days a week and work 14+ hour days? They will tell you that the benefit is that you get "weeks off" - which may or may not happen, it's not a guarantee. Good luck having a family. The phrase happy wife happy life? Your wife's name is now DB&A. Absolute pit of vipers for colleagues/middle management. Completely inhumane and inappropriate. They will change their "clear" expectations in a heartbeat. I have heard "management" make derogatory comments in reference to employees age, race, gender, and veteran status. Complete nightmare unless you fit their typical mold. Heaven forbid you leave another job for this place. If for some reason they don't like you during orientation, you might be fired in your first week. Absolutely RUN from this company. I made the mistake of NOT believing the reviews on this website. This place is a nightmare.
