Pros
Firstly I cannot fault the benefits, sick pay, generous leave policies and Christmas rewards are great
Cons
Where to start? Management at esst midlands seem to be making mistake after mistake. Horribly out of touch with the workforce. Ramp strikes were handled disgracefully and management intended to create tension between different sectors of the workforce.
During my employment at DHL I saw multiple unfair dismissals, one of which was legally fought against and won.
The HR department don't understand their own policies. When discussing the redundancy policy with Recbeeca Hickling the HR director (who's name is on said policy) she incorrectly quoted the policy
Unnecessary redundancies are happening across the business, my team of over 30 colleagues were made redundant for several to be bought back on agency despite being told there is no alternative work. Management teams are known to be using coccaine and alcohol whilst working with little to no repercussions. Historically DHL has been a great place for the ambitious but opportunities are few and far between as the business continues to struggle. And the corporate non sense being shoved down your throat daily is exhausting, there are several mountains too high and dhl aviation is the place "can do" attitudes go to die.
