Pros

Free snacks and at the end of the quarter they'll bring in free food. The office is casual you don't have to dress up in a suit or tie.

Cons

Management is brutal. The past year morale has been down. There's been layoffs and people keep leaving. It's a sad office. Management and senior leadership is to blame. They're so detached from their employees. There's no communication or transparency. The only communication that happens is a scolding email from the CEO or manager telling you you're bad at your job. Employee churn has always been an issue and will continue. Old school and dated office environment. The product is always playing catch up with competitors making it hard to sell.

Pros

-CEO is a great person to learn sales from -Chill environment -Very excellent product with a huge following in the Microsoft world -Senior leadership is very nice, they have no attitudes against employees -Excellent comp plan, you can make a lot of money working here (on a new business team of 5-7 people, at least 2-3 are making over $200k annually --- but you have to be patient and work hard the first 8 months) -Work life balance is very reasonable and expectations are clear from CEO downwards

Cons

-.NET is not being used as much as it was during the heyday of Microsoft, but nonetheless is still extremely popular (helps you as a salesperson!) -location isn't great, but isn't bad either (depends where you live) -Perks are not great, but the money you can potentially make should allay this

Pros

Management hires selectively, but democratically. Management genuinely cares about the success and professional development of employees. Office culture is constantly transforming, but at the moment, vibes are friendly and relaxed, with an edge of competitiveness. Trending towards healthier snacks, as well. Work-life balance is strong if you have the will-power to take advantage of your afternoons/evenings. Pay is pretty standard for standard achievement; over achievement is rewarded handsomely.

Cons

Ain't no one livin' in San Mateo, lemme tell you that. Commute from the city isn't too bad, if you're in sync with the sales team. Past snacking options tended to be sugar-laiden, teeth-destroyers, but that's changing. Soda is still a worrisome epidemic.
