Poor management and ungrateful team - Anonymous employee DOOB Group Employee Review

Ability to directly contribute to building and operating a business. Given opportunities I would not have been given elsewhere. Saw my work translate to the growth and improvement of our business. Formed close relationships with co-workers that were engaged and part of the same team for many year. It was a new concept and if you put a lot in, you got a lot out of the experience.

Not a lot of bells and whistles. If you're just looking for any old job, it probably wasn't the right place for you. It was very much a startup environment with those type of expectations, which wasn't always a fit for our retail teams. If you were motivated by the opportunity, it was great but you can't expect this of everyone.

There was not a single pro working at Doob. A complete regret that truly distorted my view on my own self worth that made me question my own value based on the degrading and humiliating treatment.

I used to work for Doob and I want to warn anyone looking at the positive reviews listed here on 8/25/2017 & 9/7/2017. The language used in these reviews are identical to the way I have seen the employee prompted fake yelp reviews and articulated "too good to be true" job postings direct from the mouth of the CEO. He is manipulative and degrading and only has his best interests in mind. Something to note is that Doob's Glassdoor page had been unclaimed until those last two reviews were posted. HMMMMM??? Think twice about that. There is no longevity or freedom here as will be promised. It is restrictive and not worth going above and beyond for. You will be used, abused and embarrassingly underpaid(without benefits - full time) until you can't take it anymore. Nothing will come to you in return. This place is not worth investing in because they do not invest in you. Don't fall into this trap!
