Pros
The office culture is collaborative and supportive, with department heads who lead with humility and approachability. There’s a strong sense of community, and work-life balance is genuinely respected—you’re encouraged to leave work at work. Overall, it’s a healthy and positive environment that promotes both individual well-being and team success.
Cons
I worked under a manager who maintained a very top down, authoritative leadership style. While he is highly focused on maintaining control over processes, there was often a disconnect between his expectations and the day-to-day operational realities, especially since the role was managed remotely. Support and guidance were limited, and communication around procedures was often unclear or extremely inconsistent. In a lot of cases, accountability was not shared, which created challenges in resolving issues constructively. The experience taught me the importance of clear communication, hands on leadership, and collaborative problem-solving. A lot of turn over in the servicing department because of this.
