The company has a really positive and supportive work environment. Supervisors are approachable and always willing to help, which made me feel supported in my role. One of the best parts of working here was the people, the co-workers are amazing, collaborative, and always willing to share ideas and support one another.

The main downsides are the 9–6 work schedule and very few paid holidays throughout the year.

I applied for a job with DV Therapy last year and was pleasantly suprised when I had my interview. There was a gentleman in the meeting who just asked questions about character, commitment and my values I believed in as a person. He did not ask any questions about how I would do in the role I was applying for with the company. There were other individuals there that asked all of those questions. When the interview had concluded I was driving home and was impressed by how well my interview had gone and the individual who was in them meeting who just asked me questions to find out what kind of person I was. I had also applied to a couple of other companies for the same position and had interviews with them in the coming days. Both of which made a job offer to me shortly after my interview with them. However, I wanted to work for DV Therapy and so I declined the other offers hoping DV Therapy would give me a chance to join their team. Well to make a long story short, I did get an offer from DV Therapy pending reference and background checks. Shortly after joining the company I met the individual from my interview again in the Palmdale clinic. And again it was a very genuine encounter and he asked how I was doing and if I needed anything. I still did not know what he did or who he was, so after he left I asked one of the other team members in Palmdale and they informed me that he was the owner of the company. At which point I knew that I had made the right decision to wait for an offer from DV Therapy. Since joining DV Therapy I have grown emensely and feel as though I have been challenged and supported to be a better program manager so far on my journey.
