Pros
Lovely, competent and fun people to work with; and I'm luck, my project's senior managers are excellent. Interesting work.
Cons
Where to begin.... You have no job security whatever - through its various incarnations - we have had redundancies every quarter since the EDS/HP merger in 2008. Many projects have lost people they could ill afford to lose. Pay awards and bonuses are derisory, if you do manage to get them. There is no training except some online offerings - though this might be different for grads.
