Pros

Wide selection of insurance plans. Access to base gym.

Cons

Low pay. When they took over the contract, they cut everyone's paycheck. Then, they had issues keeping people on contract, because they were offering so low. There were no advancement opportunities whatsoever in pay, where they were willing to lose essential personnel rather than pay them what they're worth, but then brought in new people at higher wages who had zero experience. They intimidated employees who took two weeks or more combined vacation and sick time in a year. Ostensibly, both of these were "unlimited". In practice, this would not get supervisor approval, and the numbers ended up far lower than industry standard. Family medical benefits were more expensive than comparable marketplace plans. Disability insurance was also pretty expensive, but they were trying to convince people to go on short-term disability for the flu. Management was aimless, uncontactable, and endlessly in pointless meetings. Part of that might be the government's fault, but when you only see your boss when they're yelling at someone, it's not a great environment. This was compounded by a customer in US Stratcom where every time an officer can't get their facebook machine working they'd scream at the IT personel like their inability to waste time at work would cause the world to end in a nuclear fireball. At the end of the day, we were overworked, understaffed, and hemmoraging qualified people. It's only been a few months, but it seems that there's only 1-2 people who were qualified when I left still working in my previous work center... and I know they're looking for a new job, too.

Pros

Company just born out of a merger of CSC and the old EDS spun off by HPE Seems to be a good match of size and capabilities A lot more business opportunities, a much larger sales and delivery capability Great people in the trenches, smart, talented, experienced Stock price through the roof for three years straight...but options no longer given out to employees Brilliant CTO

Cons

Same CEO as CSC, which means no raises or bonuses, constant cutting (value retention) Drive for more off-shoring, landed resources (Indians brought to America on bogus visa justifications, for six month intervals). Replacing people with software as fast as possible Replacing experienced people with inexperienced people as fast as possible Ridiculous sales goals set by people who have never sold anything in their lives
