Pros

Expectations are so low that it's incredibly easy to be recognised as pretty special.

Cons

Shocking employee conditions, highlighted by the near-sociopathic attitude shown by the CEO. That guy earns tens of a millions per year and promised pay reviews when he arrived in the job. 2 or 3 years later, pay is still way below market rate, not even reflecting inflation and virtually no one has had pay rises for years. Except him and the board of course. On the occasions where people ask for a pay review, he goes apoplectic and starts yelling that people should leave. It's utterly bonkers quite honestly. I left last year and now work for a company where I feel respected and where my skills are constantly being tested and improved. If you stay at DXC for an extended period, other employers will automatically assume that you are lacking in skills, drive, self-respect. Leave while you can. Life at DXC may be easy but better doing it now rather than in 10 years when you are the same grade and on the same pay, meanwhile your peers in industry are miles ahead.

Pros

Company just born out of a merger of CSC and the old EDS spun off by HPE Seems to be a good match of size and capabilities A lot more business opportunities, a much larger sales and delivery capability Great people in the trenches, smart, talented, experienced Stock price through the roof for three years straight...but options no longer given out to employees Brilliant CTO

Cons

Same CEO as CSC, which means no raises or bonuses, constant cutting (value retention) Drive for more off-shoring, landed resources (Indians brought to America on bogus visa justifications, for six month intervals). Replacing people with software as fast as possible Replacing experienced people with inexperienced people as fast as possible Ridiculous sales goals set by people who have never sold anything in their lives
