Pros

Only a couple of caring employees and coworkers, the rest are unsympathetic and aloof.

Cons

Several other employees and I were loyal, employees for many years then the firm decides to "reorganize" and uncallously lets go of their hard working employees.

Pros

associates get excellent supervision and a chance to handle cases on their own.

Cons

Recent on going reorganization has resulted in all associates getting an opportunity to land with one of the three firms coming out of the reorganization.

Pros

This firm is a great place to plant and bloom. Associates have the opportunity to handle many different kinds of cases, from start to finish. The atmosphere is very positive. The Partners are very supportive. Most everyone has been there for a very long time. Casual and relaxed place to work. This place is not a sweatshop . Many other law firms and judges think highly of the firm. I enjoyed my time as an associate and would have stayed but personal reasons took me to another opportunity.

Cons

Attorneys are expected to produce excellent results for clients. That is no different at this firm. This firm consistently gets great results for its clients. But like all law firms, that takes hard work and effort. Associates that put in the time, care, and effort to excel are well rewarded. Those that do not typically leave, or a fired, after a short while. Those are the kind of disgruntled complainers that will never be happy and feel the need to post untrue comments once they realize they can't find another job. So sad! So unprofessional! Also not sure about the other untrue comment that nobody makes partner; they just promoted a most deserving associate to partner in December. Hey, a law firm is a meritocracy -- nothing wrong with that. It's the American way!
