Pros
Ok place to start you career. You get a feel for different parts of the industry if you're contracted out to other companies. You can end up working on some decent projects with talented people but it can depend on luck.
Cons
Middle management is not interested in you regardless of what they might say. What matters at the end of the day is their financial targets. Lots of cliques within the company and lots of back scratching.
