Pros

I've been working as a part of Software Engineering team for more than a year now and I do believe in what the title says. You are given an opportunity to work on challenging tasks and learn from them as well as from your colleges. You do your tasks well you get a reward. Different benefits motivate you to do this: - team events/happy hours - work from home / flexible hours in office - sports activities reimbursement - profit sharing - career growth The management is open to your requests and ideas and will try to help you realise yourself in the company. If you want to deepen your professional knowledge you are welcome to pick up a relevant book from the library or order a new one. If that's not enough, ask for training courses or for visiting a conference. The atmosphere is very friendly here and everyone gets along.

Cons

Sometimes you have to be ready your working day can be non-standardized because you have to get your job done.

Pros

The company is very flexible and comprehensible when it comes to the employees' necessities. Because it's a startup, the product is constantly updating which makes daily activities and work more challenging and interesting.

Cons

Sometimes it is hard to keep up with the updates.

Pros

The reviews are definitely skewed, Glassdoor is like Amazon, only the people who have a negative or bitter outlook typically leave reviews. Every start has hiccups and pivots; if the people leaving negative reviews couldn't handle the windy road, then they should have went to work for a big conglomerate where you're just a number on a paycheck and no one cares about you. This company is for entrepreneurs, and if you want to slack around and not invest your time, then you're going to be the next person to be pissed off leaving a negative review. Give 110% here or don't work here. The good: - The company is very communal and everyone gets along. - Lots of freedom to work from home, or the San Francisco office, versus commuting to San Mateo - You get out what you put in - If you care to learn it, you'll learn a lot - Great experience for someone interested in building their own business - Management (CEO excluded) is great and genuinely cares about their employees - Revenue has increased over 3000% in the past ~30 months - Company is profitable - Company trips for revenue milestones (Hawaii, Vegas, Tahoe, etc.)

Cons

The bad and the ugly: - Company lacks direction at times, but what startup doesn't? - CEO has control issues and narcissistic tendencies that need to be addressed - The commute from SF sucks - Company lacks trust in the CEO
