Pros

Fridge full of yummy food

Cons

I've had many jobs during my lifetime and none of them have been as traumatic or toxic as working at Deleon. The CEO, Michael Repka, is a toddler trapped in an adult body. He tries to make jokes during the interview process by humiliating other employees in the office. It doesn't end there though, he will humiliate you in person, spoke to you in a condesending tone when you make a mistake, will yell at you in private. In fact, I once witnessed him through stuff around in his office because he was upset with the owner due to an overlapping of a showing appointment. He through his care kit across his office, yelled and slammed his door. I've never seen an adult have no control over their emotions, especially in the work place. Michael Repka is awful, his wife, Rachel, doesn't do anything besides sit in her office all day and act like she's contributing anything valuable to the company. Everything about this company is awful. Michael is the worst person I've ever dealt with.

Pros

DeLeon Realty truly was a positive experience. I was fortunate to have joined the organization in 2014 when there was incredible growth and I was also fortunate to have been given multiple opportunities to move around within the organization in various roles. For the most part, I felt valued as an employee. Expectations are very high from Executive Leadership but totally understandable because it's normal practice for Executive Leadership to put in 6 or 7 day work weeks. I enjoyed the different challenges and I was rewarded for my efforts. The secret to being successful within the organization is to demonstrate a willingness to learn and to demonstrate flexibility. My experience with Executive Leadership was that if I had an issue, I was always welcome to present it but to present it eloquently with possible solutions. The people I worked with more closely were fantastic and we collaborated well. Even post employment with DeLeon Realty, I am fortunate to still be friends with and maintain solid relationships with many of my former colleagues. When I made the decision to leave, Ken and Michael were both very understanding of my circumstances. I was asked to stay and when I politely declined, they allowed me to bow out quietly and gracefully on my terms.

Cons

Having a work/life balance can be tricky during the busy seasons. There were some individuals who loved to gossip but that unfortunately is normal within any organization. Turnover is high but I believe that can be easily corrected.
