Pros
Huge autonomy from early on, I got the chance to take on real responsibilities, lead teams, and make decisions that mattered. You learn fast, and you're trusted with big challenges. If you're someone who wants to grow and take ownership early in your career, this place gives you the space. The environment pushes you, in a good way, to be resourceful and accountable. Strong culture of feedback and development (at least when I was there).
Cons
Over the last 2 years, global leadership changes brought in a wave of transformation, and things started moving at an unrealistic pace. Countries are now expected to deliver on global goals without enough flexibility or support to adjust for local realities. There's a growing gap between global ambition and on-ground execution which puts teams under pressure without the right autonomy or resources. The unique "Decathlon spirit" feels like it’s been fading with all the change.
