Great working environment and friendly folks

Nothing glaringly bad at the moment

The people are incredible; The people at Decisions really sets it apart from the other companies I have worked at. All of the departments have a lot of people who are willing to help and see projects through and put in the extra effort to get projects and deliverables over finish lines. The company does actually try to prioritize the people/employees that work there. Sometimes balancing margins and growth can lead to the people being forgotten or neglected. My time here has shown me that Decisions does it's best to incorporate individual success with company success, and that those things do not differ greatly. The work is engaging and challenging. Decisions typically "punches up", meaning they try to operate relatively lean. This can sometimes lead to stress and frustration but often leads to growth and development. The technical challenges are always ahead of the curve, and that is exciting. Decisions offers a lot of flexibility with work/life balance, and the paid time off benefits are better than most other companies. The other benefits are also competitive, with 401k matching, etc.

Operating lean can sometimes feel overwhelming. You have to be able to maintain the appropriate balance. Fortunately, the company has leadership that do their best to engage and keep the larger picture in focus, which helps. The health benefits tend to change more regularly than ideal, but I personally think that's more an issue of the health insurance industry on a whole, and less of an issue with the company itself.
