Job security, health benefits, TSP retirement plan, opportunities to work anywhere in the world that has a military base commissary! Pay increases in alignment with GS jobs (every year or every other year). If you work in management, travel expenses may be paid, as well as living expenses if going overseas.
Cons
Not as high pay for a comparable job outside, if you want to promote fast, you have to be willing to move! Otherwise it can take a very very long time. Not the greatest morale or room for creativity or innovation; you are at the whim of your supervisors. Similar to working in the military.
