Pros
Office culture was strong and I could tell the individuals there really valued my work and presence. There was a sense of community that made going into office worthwhile. I worked on some pretty interesting projects there that spurred my love for the medical device and healthtech industries.
Cons
My pay was not up to industry standard and when I tried to negotiate my salary, there was very little budge. Layoffs had me jaded and wanting to leave but then I was let go along anyways so the outcome was still the same. There was no real opportunity for growth and no career support while I was there. I wasn't encouraged to develop any additional skills or learn about other departments in my downtime outside of what was needed from my specific role.
