Terrible and inexperienced management. This publication is about clicks over quality content. Disconnected from the Des Moines community as a whole. The executive editor throws her employees under the bus for her own mistakes. Dry, corporate atmosphere with almost zero feedback. Good luck getting a raise or moving up in the company. The parent company is in desperate need of cash. Coaches and editors are sluggish and lethargic. Readership and popularity continue to decline. Reliance on crappy tutorials for corporate-wide updates. As with most corporate media, jobs are never secure.
