Pros
The people (employees and leaders) are by far the best reason to work for this company. A culture of safety, honesty, fair treatment (for customers and employees), and going the extra mile create an environment where you want to become a permanent part of the team. Innovation is rewarded as is efforts for continuous improvement. You can make mistakes, so long as you honestly report them, and ensure your corrective actions prevent future error of the same type. In general, you are going to get heard and your problem addressed. Pay is higher than normal, and it improves based on what knowledge and expertise you are willing to gain and apply in your job so that you are bringing value to the company or clients. Most important is honesty from upper management and they care.
Cons
Work-life balance can be a problem unless you stay disciplined and enforce your boundaries, which doesn't hurt your career but takes additional diligence and energy. The type of business the company is in can require lots of travel.
