Pros
A lot of passionate folks working in a space that lacks passion. Hey, it's telephones, so what do you expect. Pretty casual environment (outside of sales) to work in and a great location. Some really cool people to work with and hang out with as well.
Cons
HR/People - Well, their really isn't this function at Dialpad. For a company of 160 people it is very surprising. They talk about how important the people are but they put zero effort in building the right team to support this effort. This size of organization demands leadership and experience which will fix many of the other issues found in the company. Sales - Dialpad has always talked about how much they care about the employee. When you hire a CRO that doesn't care about people, good people will leave. Current leadership has decided process over people. The lack of experience/leadership currently in place is surprising for such a high profile company. Marketing - Big talk but little execution to drive sales. Never once has sales and marketing been on the same page. End of story.
