Pros

This review is specifically for the Vrai consumer division of Diamond Foundry. The Vrai products are beautiful and the company was originally founded on great values by a truly impressive leader. That leader was forced out of her own company at 9 months pregnant and since then the company has taken a drastic and poor turn.

Cons

Since the new management has taken over things at the company have gone downhill. The is a pattern of unprofessionalism, unnecessary personal remarks made, and declining results to boot. It is a mystery why someone with a track record of harassment was not only kept on board by promoted. About 50% of employees have left in the past 4 months and those that are still around are miserable. Constantly worried that they are going to get fired or get publicly humiliated for no reason whatsoever. The company says to that public that it is ethical yet inside the company walls the environment is the exact opposite.

Pros

Fast-paced but employee-oriented environment where I feel motivated. If you’re someone who likes hands-on work and enjoys learning how equipment operates, you’ll enjoy this role. Supportive team – most people are willing to answer questions and share experience. Competent management and a solid benefits package. There’s a lot of potential here for those who are ready to put in the extra effort.

Cons

Can be tiring because it requires constant attention to detail.

Pros

The technical work was genuinely interesting, and my colleagues were competent and knew what they were doing.

Cons

- I worked every weekend, often for entire days, without ever being explicity told to, because the workload effectively demanded it. - Messages regularly came in late at night, including around 11 PM, as if it were normal working hours, and it became clear that not responding was viewed negatively. - My vacation time was rarely real rest since I would still be contacted or return to urgent issues that made me feel obligated to stay engaged. - There was an unspoken expectation of constant availability, where being ready to respond immediately was treated as standard. - I became exhausted from constantly checking my phone first thing in the morning and right before sleeping because work never truly stopped.
