Pros

-Relaxed environment -Financially stable -Reorganized so often, if you are dissatisfied just wait and a new job will land in your lap -Great work/life balance -CEO is a great leader, and helps keep things directed -Nearly impossible to get fired -lots of free lunchs

Cons

-Incompetent leadership from the VP's down to the team leaders, many promoted from within and have no other work experience, most of them have never seen how a real company operates -Leaders are not trusted with budgets, even a $50 spend requires approvals going through much of the company, this makes work that should take an afternoon take months. -This company has an alcohol problem, at first it is neat drinking at work, but after a while it just gets sad to watch. The culture is very alcohol focused, if you do not drink, don't even consider working here. -Interview process is bizarre, taking months and never really digging deeply into technical skills or even soft skills, mostly because people are nervous due to it being nearly impossible to fire anyone. -Lots of promises are made during the interview process, they will tell you anything to get you to accept the job, but much of it turns out not to be true once you start, lots of bait and switch stories are told. -Most of your work will go unused, leadership changes directions so often that there isn't time to complete most things, your work just goes in the garbage and you start over on something new. -Maintains a cult like atmosphere to the company, if you dare question the awe and wonder of Direct Supply you are ostracized by the many people that have never worked anywhere else and think it is the greatest thing ever to exist. -Salaries are socialized, if you are making way less than everyone else in similar roles, your pay will increase rapidly while other stay nearly the same, their goal is to pay everyone in similar roles the same pay regardless of skill or experience. -Most of the worker bees throughout the technology organization are out of control doing whatever they want, most are young twenty somethings and feel entitled since they have never worked other jobs. This makes it difficult for lower management to get anything done. They have to go ask and plead with the worker bees to do what needs to be done, instead of just leading their workers to do the right thing. -Many unstable people work at this company that would have been fired in any other company, but are protected by friendships or connections to upper management, these people are a blight on the company that encourage or create many of the other problems -There is little motivation to get work done, most of the people in this company work at a casual pace or slower, taking weeks to do what should have taken days, this apathy is mostly due to them knowing their work isn't likely to go anywhere -Many of the titles in this company are misapplied, most people have a title a notch or two higher than what they actually do in the company. Most coming into the company are disappointed to find out what their jobs actually are when they come into the company since the actual job will be a couple notches lower than the job title. -This company likes to have parties, at first this also seems fun, but it gets to a point where the weekly interruption for some some event whose only purpose is to get you drunk starts to interfere with the work you are trying to get done

Pros

- Good benefits for the size of company - Hybrid work environment for most positions, dog-friendly campus - High quality employees that pull their weight - Lots of opportunity to learn new skills or participate in different committees if that's your thing

Cons

- The pay is honestly abysmal for the workloads you're expected to carry - They preach work/life balance but also expect you to do everything immediately - They preach diversity and inclusion but if you don't fit into the very "corporate" culture, that is held against you in myriad ways - Not at ALL friendly for those in the neurodivergent community unless you're in engineering or IT. - Senior leadership is just clueless about the actual culture and morale of the employees
