Pros
You'll learn the mechanics of a medium sized distribution outlet. Colorful coworkers who have been around for years are great to work with. No day is the same. Working here is a little bit like living in a Seinfeld episode.
Cons
You really have to make your place within the company. Do not expect to be given professional direction. You may not even be given what to do. It can be confusing at first but eventually it makes sense. You are just as much responsible for making the company succeed and profit as the owner. If you cannot figure out how to do that then move over someone who will come in who understands the owners vision.
