Pros

Guests are engaging and pleasant to work with. Compensation and benefits for park entry is good.

Cons

Management of Disneyland Day custodial discretion of bullying and disciplines for harassment gives extreme examples of racism and favoritism. If you were not well known and kissing up to management, any possible mistake would put you close to termination. Considering the bullying and toxic work culture that management promotes within the department, I couldn’t stand working there and left. When mentioned to management that someone was bullying and sexually harassing multiple other cast members, statements were not collected, HR wasn’t involved, and nothing ever happened because that individual was a “favorite” of management, he never got in trouble and instead people would transfer out of the department or leave the company entirely to escape him.

Pros

Company cares and values its employees. There are many resources, events, and paths for individuals to learn and grow. This is a great place to get a solid footing and start.

Cons

Very difficult to move up as there are many people trying to work for the Resort. There is ample competition for positions and you need to work hard to move to a professional position outside of park operations.
