1. They don't offer a great deal of perks such as gym reimbursement, parking, educational class allowance. Their transportation allowance barely makes a dent.
2. Administrative professionals are under-appreciated and lack fair pay
3. Teams/ departments feel separated. (if you go to a company event you'll feel like everyone is a stranger besides the few people you work with)
4. Their payables, purchasing teams and processes can use a great deal of improvement - simple tasks can take months/weeks. lack of response and unclear procedures are rampant.
5. on-boarding new employees process should be more professional. (i.e. give a tour of the office, encourage managers to setup a lunch with their new employee on the first day instead of making them sit through orientation, introduce them to key people, and make them feel more welcomed)
6. better pay raises and career grown for any administrative professional
