5yThank you for sharing your thoughts. Everybody in our company should be treated with respect and be able to contribute. If you don’t feel your ideas are being heard, please reach out to Tom Casey. He -- time and time again -- has been interested in listening to a wide range of voices throughout all levels of his team. I think you will find Tom receptive to hearing you out and, if you are open to it, sharing his feedback and advice for you.
As for what I am understanding to be political points of view, that is also disheartening to hear. In the past 12 months, we have had many speakers and fundraising efforts focused on helping communities who were experiencing racism in our societies with the goal of raising awareness and empathy. Many employee resources groups sponsor these forums. And while we don’t have ERGs that are political or religious in nature, we certainly enjoy hearing different perspectives from a range of thought leaders. Might you consider organizing or proposing a speaker who might represent a different point of view to help build understanding? If so, please suggest the speaker to Dan or Joan. It might jumpstart a dialogue that is constructive.
