Our employee first approach means employees have more input into how we are designing the future of how we will work. As a result of listening to employees, as we reopen our offices, more than 90% of team members will be able to work remotely. We have also expanded the benefits based on feedback from our employees. As for conservative values not being listened to, I agree that country and world politics has less of a place in day to day worklife at DocuSign. I do know that on our leadership team we do have a wide range of views -- not all liberal. Is there a way that you can flag the bias in the flow of a discussion that could curb the political discussions -- perhaps something like "I might have a different view on this but prefer not to speak politics with colleagues at work. Can we shift gears here?" or "I have been finding the political debates in general a bit draining. Can we shift gears here and get back to the project?" I have found people very receptive at DocuSign when they are made aware of their bias in a respectful way. Tone and words matter. Give it a try. You might find it works and also helps your colleagues' professional development.
