Pros

Good work/life balance , which is why I gave 1 star

Cons

Where do I start... The pay is terrible. You can get paid a higher hourly wage if you work at a fast food restaurant or a retail store for entry level positions. They don't want their own employees to have better opportunities or grow within their company. They'll give you a "courtesy" interview if you try to move internally within the company, but getting hired is a completely different story. They don't see it as advantageous to hire within, and rather waste time/money on external candidates. I love how their buzz words for 2021 is "diversity, equality, and inclusion". First of all, many of the leadership roles are held by old, white men. Walk down the halls in the corporate office, and I'm sure you'll find a bunch of white men sitting in their offices. One question I would love to have answered is if you really believe in diversity, equality, and inclusion, why have ever single one of your Presidents and CEOs been old, white men since being founded in 1855?

Pros

Very friendly, decent amount of knowledge able to be gained. Team supports you and encourages you.

Cons

After learning the tools (intune, felxera, etc) things become more and more repetitive.

Pros

Plenty of opportunity at dollar for growing your knowledge and experience. Leadership does care about their people and there is a a fair bit of access to executive management. Benefits are pretty good with insurance, gym reimbursement, 401k match and other things.

Cons

Performance incentives are sorely lacking here. If you are a high performer, you get the same performance incentive distributed into your 401k as someone who is average. Management also has a track record of adding responsibilities but not necessarily increasing compensation. The other main item is that the majority of employees have started and stayed at dollar. Coming in externally with difference experiences can be challenging.
