Pros

Some coworkers were nice, locations was close to home, did enjoy knowing deals ahead of time tho

Cons

Terrible pay, they expect you to be on call for the fresh truck but dont pay you any extra for it OR you dont get paid if the truck happens to not be able to make its delivery on time, make you work on every single holiday except for Christmas day, nor do the hours get shortened on those days either. Only some holidays got holiday pay. No sick pay, no PTO, no vacation days, no actual benefical benefits. No employee discount (except like maybe 3 times a year where they decide to give you 30% off that is not combinable with any other coupons and only could be used once). Management would make up stupid rules or decide to enforce rules that only applied to certain people and only when they benefitted them. Make you buy your own uniforms then have the audacity to put up signs for uniforms you could buy The higher ups literally do not care to listen to anyone on any complaints or suggestions we had. They just came in, not knowing literally anything about how the store worked and then forced us to change everything--which ended up making everything more difficult for customers and employees.

Pros

You have an opportunity to create good good relationships with your customers.

Cons

There is no work life balance. If you’re a store manager you’re expected to be there 24/7 if necessary. You’re also salary, so you’re paid for a flat 40 hours but required to schedule yourself for a minimum of 48 hours. No holiday pay, no overtime. You have access to two types of bonuses but they’re IF you qualify for them. You get little to no support from upper management and constantly told you’re not doing enough. They don’t care if you’re having staffing issues and still expect you to get the truck completely worked in 2 days and the store to be 100% recovered daily, even if you’re alone. Then they’ll either look for ways to write you up to terminate you or push you until you quit.
