Pros

Some decent intelligent people about who are bulldozed by dysfunctional practices

Cons

Micromanagement is the only type of management you will get, do not expect any sort of pastoral care You will get burnt out due to the lack of project governance and you will be expected to conduct the project management role while they enjoy "the culture crew" Their culture drive is due to very poor results and inability to retain top talent, why you may ask? Simply put you will be earning someone else's salary to give them an excellent work life balance that must be respected at all times however when yours comes into question and no working excessive hours, they will get rid of you or your progression will halt completely. Salaries are not market competitive either and the process to get bonuses, salary increases or promotions is farcical. They are truly lost and just a matter of time before it folds or is consumed by a larger consultancy For a data consultancy they are clearly behind the times and cannot retain the new talent Bogged down by useless documentation that is glanced at and then discarded

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are genuinely sorry to hear that aspects of your time with us didn’t meet your expectations. Feedback like yours is incredibly important as it helps us reflect, learn, and grow. We are actively working to strengthen management support across the business, including clearer roles such as People Coaches and Practice Leads, as well as consistent guidance from project leads. We know how vital it is to feel supported in your day to day work. Culture is something we care deeply about. The Culture Crew was created to help foster a positive, inclusive environment, and we believe everyone plays a role in shaping the workplace we all want to be part of. We also recognise that work life balance is essential. While some projects may require more time in certain periods, we are committed to ensuring this isn’t the norm and are working closely with teams to manage workloads sustainably. Our approach to salaries, promotions, and performance management is under regular review to ensure fairness and transparency. We are always looking for ways to improve and evolve these processes. If you're open to continuing the conversation, we would really appreciate the opportunity to learn more. Please feel free to reach out to our People, Culture and Talent Team at peoplesupport@dufrain.co.uk.

Pros

I work with some great people and I like the project I'm working on right now.

Cons

No bonus (again) but big commissions for the sales team and nothing for the rest of the company - the company seems to forget we are all involved in winning a deal, and quite often the customer is buying us as individuals. Recent senior leadership changes have turned a poor culture toxic. It's not the company it used to be and it's getting worse. Avoid.

Pros

Tons of opportunity for growth – If you're ambitious and proactive, there's no shortage of ways to step up and take ownership of meaningful projects. You're trusted with responsibility early on, which can rapidly accelerate your development. High-impact work – The business is scaling quickly, so the work you do genuinely moves the needle. You can see the value of your contribution almost immediately. Collaborative and driven team – You're surrounded by talented, motivated people who want to build something great. The pace means there's a strong sense of camaraderie and shared mission. Leadership visibility – It's easy to get access to senior leadership and have your voice heard. Good ideas are acted on quickly without a lot of red tape. Dynamic environment – Every week looks different, which keeps things exciting and ensures you’re constantly learning and adapting.

Cons

Fast pace can be overwhelming – Things change quickly and priorities shift often. It can be difficult to keep up if you’re not naturally adaptable. Processes are still catching up – As with any hyper-growth company, some internal systems and processes aren’t fully matured yet. You have to be comfortable with a bit of ambiguity and willing to build as you go. Work-life balance can vary – High expectations and the drive to deliver results can sometimes tip the scale toward long hours, depending on your role or the phase of a project,
