Pros
Stable non-profit, decent benefits, community focused.
Cons
If you don't drink the kool-aid, you will be alienated regardless of your accomplishements. Worked there 10+ years, gave my soul to build a department that grew 5x times in revenue, broke down so many silo's. When I had a chance for advancement in my personal career, I took it. They refused to pay out remaining vacation balance of about $8K because of an 'improper' notice of leave. Two week notice given, albeit one day was a federal holiday, and offered to be available for up to one week unpaid for project completion of tasks in the pipeline. This decision was completely about the credit union and without recognition of any employee achievement. By the way, the employee manual does not specify what a 'proper' notification for leaving the job would entail, leaving it a complete grey area.
