Pros

The CS teams where connected and strong, this took time of course and was created by all members coming together and talking over slack channels and meetings. Some issues with things here and there but what team doesn't.

Cons

The higher ups, From CEO to VPs, they never cared about the CS department and there for all our concerns and issues where brushed off. Including when the whole team kept telling them that customers are going to hate this change and people come to us due to being different than the others, they didn't listen, launched and within 2 hours had to come up with an option for it to be up to the customer due to the bad feedback. Had they listened, we would never had the customers upset. Also lower pay than most out there.

Pros

Remote work, CS team members are friendly and helpful.

Cons

They claim to be transparent, they are not. At first seemed like a great place to work, however, after getting a peek behind the curtain, not so much. CEO/owner seems disinterested in staff concerns/feedback (even when he asked for the feedback) and out of touch in general - for example, in meetings, if he is not leading the meeting, pretty sure he's playing kwazy cupcakes/scrolling socials because he is not engaged or attentive. Upper management ill equipped for the positions they hold, seems to focus on insignificant details rather the the overall scope. The majority of engineers in general not helpful. When it comes to tickets, long time for replies, when they do reply, do not provide full details/explanations and seem annoyed that they even have to answer questions/not interested in helping. Also a very reactive approach to conducting business. Often release new updates/features that "break the system" or do not work as they should leaving the CS team to handle the fallout without any clear guidelines on a fix/resolution. Imbalance financial compensation/duties. While PTO is sufficient, you earn the time as you go, so unless you wait several months to use PTO, it feels like you are not getting the time promised. No sick days (must come from PTO) and holidays are not time and a half (Canada) receive a day in lieu.
