Pros

Quick and efficient onboarding process. People helpful on the beginning. Very interesting product and tasks.

Cons

Manager (at Dynatrace, this role is call by the term of a team captain) not trained and not fit to lead the team of seasoned software developers. Would better fulfil his skills at hardware store or as a warehouse manager. Strong focus on Agile processes and ceremonies instead of the product and delivering business value. Pettiness and ongoing accounting for the smallest mistakes. Micromanagement and lack of trust to the team members resulting in creating a very stressful atmosphere.

The Team Captain aims to maximize the success of the team, enabling individuals to pursue big ideas, while recognizing the power of maintaining a healthy work-life balance. We’re sorry you saw it differently. Your concerns have been shared with local leadership.

Pros

Decent Product Great Perks Co-Workers

Cons

A lot of what happens to your career is beyond your control. You can be a top performer and still only meet satisfied in remarks. The customer success departments went through some changes earlier this year and it left it splintered. A lot of toxic environments take place in pockets and everyone is cliqued up. I suppose you could say this is like every corporation, but this was junior varsity level office politics. If you made someone upset you could be next. Most of the executive leadership and brings in their buddies who have no idea how the product works and all of the veterans have left by now. It's mostly a game of grab behind and brown nosing.
