Pros

EAT is a highly respected international organization with visionary ambitions to transform food systems, backed by a strong mission, good reputation, excellent PR, and an impressive network of advisors. Great office space in Oslo.

Cons

EAT struggles with a toxic work environment marked by poor leadership, high turnover, and management sabotages the organization. Internal collaboration is minimal, and roles often focus more on PR and event organizing than meaningful, impactful work. The organization is unstructured, with low salaries compared to similar roles in Norway, contributing to a challenging atmosphere that detracts from EAT’s otherwise admirable vision.

Pros

Visionary ambitions on improving food systems

Cons

Not any "real" work, mostly networking and PR, like ask yourself "what do EAT actually do?" Toxic work environment with extremely high turnover Leadership and Founder highly incompetent in driving organizational development Founder toxic bully, using her power to silence everyone. Everyone knows who is really in charge No transparency in hiring processes, in decision making, and extremely top-down MeToo-episodes, low level of psychological safety, and sexual approach used to acquire advisors If you ask questions, you are silenced, bullied to silence and part of out-group This has happened since the inception in 2013

Pros

Punches way above its weight class. Extensive network.

Cons

Slighlty underfunded, resulting in short contracts, potentially leading to some of the negative press. Understaffed, resulting in too little communication now and then.
