Pros

1. Compensation is generally competitive, although not at the top of the market 2. The company has not conducted layoffs during my time here 3. Many colleagues are friendly and supportive, which made my onboarding process much easier

Cons

1. The company lacks transparency regarding performance/salary review. In my experience, salary increases were not always strongly correlated with performance and could be limited if compensation was considered to be at the upper end of the company's market range. 2. The company's stability and lack of layoffs appear to come with a relatively high workload. In my experience, teams were often understaffed, which regularly resulted in overtime and increased workload. This expectation was not clearly communicated to me when I had an interview with HR when I was planning to join the company. 3. Poor corporate culture. Pretty mediocre teambuildings/corporate events. In my opinion, some employees appeared to receive preferential treatment despite questionable performance. 4. Feedback system. HR regularly encourages employees to share feedback. Personally I have not seen any changes being made regarding my dissatisfaction with some processes or workplace concerns. 5. Hybrid work schedule. Originally the company was full-time office (which HR team frequently reminds the employees about). In COVID times it became fully remote. And after some time it became hybrid. The decision to add 2 mandatory office working days was implemented without employee voting or consultation, at least to my knowledge. Now 3rd mandatory office working day is being introduced. The process is pretty similar to how the first 2 mandatory office working days were introduced. Employees cannot choose which days to attend the office. The schedule is defined by the company 6. Most of the employees should follow a strict policy regarding their working location and are expected to work from locations where the company has offices. Working from countries where the company does not have an office is not permitted. I observed exceptions to the location policy being granted inconsistently, while most employees were expected to follow significantly stricter rules 7. Based on my experience, onboarding lacked clear guidance and did not always provide sufficient time for new employees to adapt to company expectations 8. Higher expectations. Employees are expected to consistently exceed baseline expectations. In practice, simply meeting the requirements of the role may not always be viewed as sufficient 9. Career development. Can not really say that this is definitely a con since it was clearly communicated to me during HR interviews. But still I'll point it out - there is very limited space for career development as well as internal mobility. The process of being promoted to a higher position lacks transparency
