Pros

Flexible hours when they follow your availability. "Guaranteed" hourly wage regardless of order volume

Cons

EatStreet took over from Zoomer in my area but aren't much better. I asked specifically about assumed cash tips in onboarding and was told they would not be doing that but are so you don't actually get $12/hour. Actual driver wage with these assumptions, regular driving, and tolls is closer to $8-9/hour. I've had to tell restaurants to no put 're-orders' back into the system as cash orders because of this taking away money I'm supposed to earn for an order that I'll 99% of the time receive no tip. They've allowed some restaurants to maintain large radiuses (7-8+ mile single direction trips) and have recently expanded the zones of many others. Because Dispatchers don't really know the area, drivers are often given "go tos" instead of orders and will drive full across the city for no order then get another back to where they came from just to waste their time and gas. EatStreet released a new employee handbook several months ago that should never have gone to drivers. It basically reiterated that drivers are seen as second class to the company and won't be given any of the benefits of other employees.
