Pros

Gained experience but did not learn anything new. Autonomy while working which was great. Close to public transportation.

Cons

Never speak up or you will forever be on the top leader's hit list. It almost runs as a mean girls club. Compensations is not enough for the amount of work you are expected to do. You get judged if you only work regular hours, more is expected. Didn't realize how bad the work-life balance was until I left there. Top leaders (VP-level) will make accusations based on what they hear, not what they know - which is extremely unprofessional after you’ve left the company. As a recruiter, you basically feel like you are lying to every person when you tell them that it is a great culture, environment or that there is room for growth. There is none of that. Feedback I received from previous employees while working there made me feel awful about being a part of a team like that. If you are a recruiter that truly cares about what you're "selling," skip this one. There are a lot of better opportunities out there! Took me 9 months to realize I needed to get out of there. I was the 2nd most senior recruiter and I was there for 9 months, yikes!

Pros

Decent community and work environment, huge team so you’ll definitely meet some interesting people. Good for gaining early experience in the restaurant industry

Cons

Volume is unpredictable and inconsistent, so you have to be prepared to either be in the weeds with minimal assistance from management or ready to idle for 3 hours with two walk-ins per hour and no reservations. And the tourists are exceptionally insufferable here
