Pros

can make good money if you get on a storm and are LUCKY enough to continue getting claim assignments

Cons

This has been been a Family run Dynasty ,, You can do and excellent job but never be left out of next assignment, if family or friends need work. In other words,,, family , friends of family, hunting buddies get the favored assignments, they talk about loyalty to the company and not taking assignments from their competitors but don't seem to understand the concept of reciprocity ,,, and if you need help on an issue dont ask their Texas managers , they belittle you for asking ,,,

Thank you very much for sharing your feedback and opinions about working with Eberl. We are sorry to hear that your experience has not met your expectations. Eberl has always taken pride in treating our adjusters with respect and we believe in reciprocating loyalty to those that are loyal to us. When we select an adjuster for a given assignment, there are multiple variables to consider including; client, skill sets, licensure, software requirements, distance to work site, required report time and more. In addition, we do our best to meet each adjusters deployment preferences including; location, site preference (inside or field) and client preference. So while it may appear that others are being given favored treatment, there are many variables in play that ultimately determines who is selected for a given assignment. We have heard similar feedback regarding a more open dialog with our adjuster workforce and in May we held our first formal “Listening Session”. This gathering in Dallas gave several groups of adjusters an opportunity to share their thoughts with our Leadership team and yielded valuable information on how people feel about Eberl. We are actively using feedback gleaned from those sessions to benefit our adjuster workforce. Additional “Listening Sessions” are already scheduled for the future in other locations as well. Once again, thank you taking the time to share your comments. We welcome you to contact us directly at feedback@eberls.com if you wish to discuss further. We appreciate your loyalty and dedication and hope to work with you for many years to come.

Pros

Love the management team; they’re always willing to help. There’s no dumb questions. Also never had trouble with taking off. Of course there’s no PTO, but if you request days off in advance, you’re good. Just don’t do it too much because then you would be at high risk of being released from the deployment early (and possibly being put on the DNR (do not rehire) list for that specific insurance company. If your on a contract with big red, I would highly suggest limiting your call offs since that it most adjuster firms biggest client and you DO NOT want to mess up with them. If you get on the DNR list, you won’t be able to get back off it for 6+ years and even then, you will have to know someone higher up to help you get off it.

Cons

No major pay increases. I love received one pay increase, after 90 days and it was from $25 to $26 (ECTA role; aka Auto Claims Adjuster). Outside of that, no one received anymore pay increases. Wish that the pay for ECTA was more standard, like AT LEAST $30-36 per hour.
