Pros
The only benefit to this company is the health insurance. It may be expensive, but worth it if you have a family.
Cons
Here are the facts about Eccalon: This company was comprised of a little over 50 people, however, roughly 20 of them actually do work. There are people at this company that are considered Teflon, and it's further proven through the fact that they do ABSOLUTELY nothing throughout their workday and don't show up to work until after lunch, even when office hours are supposed to be 9 to 5. The benefits of this company are a joke. Employees don't earn paid time off (PTO), but rather discretionary time off (DTO), which means, if you leave this company under ANY circumstances, you will not be paid out for any balance you have. Also, you must use DTO for all holidays as Eccalon only recognizes one Federal Holiday (Juneteenth). Working remotely for this company, the HR staff doesn't really care to provide assistance to your needs. More often than not, they will not respond to any inquiries you have concerning your pay or benefits until you send them a 3rd or 4th email about your needs. The CEO has to be one of the scummiest people walking the planet. He directed the senior staff to create fake reviews on this website to eliminate the true overall poor rating his company. If you have any conversative values, you'd be best to leave them at the door as the CEO and his company consistently air far-left propaganda on their televisions throughout the building. Also, the CEO is a major supporter of the Democratic party as he has donated thousands of dollars over course of roughly 20 years. Overall, this is a terrible place to work. It is a website company, and really nothing more, despite claiming to be involved in so many facets of numerous markets. I'm glad I left this company for a more established company that treats its employees with respect.
