Pros

My internship at ECHOS was a genuinely rewarding experience. From day one, I felt like a contributing part of the team not just an intern doing busywork. I had the chance to support hands-on projects like media list building, trend and competitor research, and even drafting press releases and pitches. These opportunities gave me real insight into agency workflows and strengthened my communication, time management, and critical thinking skills. The team I worked with was incredibly collaborative and supportive. They made space for learning, encouraged questions, and consistently offered feedback that helped me grow professionally. I appreciated how approachable everyone was even though direct interaction with leadership was limited, the mentorship I received from my account team more than made up for it.

Cons

As with many internships, face time with executive leadership was limited, but I never felt disconnected or undervalued. The structure of the internship focused more on working closely with account leads, which gave me the mentorship and context I needed.

Pros

Working at ECHOS was an incredibly valuable experience in my professional journey. The environment is fast-paced and highly collaborative, which pushed me to grow quickly and take on significant responsibilities early on. I had the chance to build strong relationships with clients and was consistently exposed to high-level projects, particularly within the lifestyle and outdoor spaces. Leadership is passionate and supportive, especially following some internal changes that made a notable difference in the day-to-day experience.

Cons

During my time, there were a few challenges that made certain projects more difficult than they needed to be. One peer lacked the collaborative mindset expected of the team, and a leadership figure within the bike portfolio didn’t provide the guidance or structure necessary for success. However, both individuals are no longer with the company, and their departure led to a much more positive and cohesive work environment.
