Pros
The only one left that has a workforce in place to deliver on customer promises.
Cons
Over promises on customer delivery, no checks and balances on work hours/territory. Some territories will be white-knuckled, can-they-finish monthly visits, etc. month after month, with overnight travel--while some territories will never travel, and look for things to do 1 week of every month. Both territories are the same pay scale. Corporate account managers are absolutely CLUELESS about sales. They are by and large YES men (no women), only there to say "whatever you want," with no consideration for company cost in time and/or field personnel. They have no advancement to other positions procedure in place. You might well be suited to a better position, but that would require your immediate supervisor to have to fill your position. So the position you sign up for, be prepared for it to be a for-life position.
