I’ve been working with EDGE for almost 3 years now and I’m pleased at how my career is shaping up. I started without any management background but the company gave me an opportunity to become a team lead. Over the years of coaching by my own manager, I have grown both in my industry knowledge and soft skills which now equipped me to manage a team of my own. •Goal oriented and will equip you on how to achieve these. •Good camaraderie between colleagues. •The credit is given to an employee when it is due. •Rewards are also given for good performances ranging from a simple dinner together to celebrate a successful client migration, to a good bonus during the annual performance reviews. •Good employee benefit package. •Management listens to the employee’s concern. •Internal monitoring tools are already set up which are comprehensive and enables us to efficiently and proactively do our tasks.
Cons
•Working hours are longer. No one requires you to but as there are quite a number of tasks at hand, you would want to spend more time to finish them. •As we are a global company, it is sometimes a challenge regarding working cultures. For instance, a task that is urgent to one region that needs resolving within 24 hours, may not be deemed urgent by another region. Overall, I enjoy working for EDGE. No company is perfect but if you are looking for a place that is career oriented and is already positioned well in the IT field of financial industry market, then this company is for you.
