SCAM! FOR EMPLOYEES AS WELL THEIR STUDENTS - Account Manager Edoofa Employee Review

Pros

This company runs more like a school than a workplace. There are two "principals" with 6-7 "teachers," and the rest of the employees are treated like students. Punishments exist, but in a corporate setting—salary deductions if targets aren’t met, leaves getting cut, and constant workplace bullying. The worst part is their so-called "sandwich policy"—except without the upper and lower bread. If you take a paid leave adjacent to a holiday, your salary gets deducted. For example, if there’s a festival with two holidays and you take a half-day before it, you’ll lose 2.5 days' worth of pay. If you take a leave on any regular working day, your salary gets cut for all the connected days, whether it's a holiday, weekend, or festival. This is an unethical policy that could likely be challenged legally. Despite having around 50-60 employees, 4-5 people quit every month because of their hire-and-fire mentality. They frequently hire college students, then pressure and bully them for taking leave during exams. Their HR team is highly manipulative, making it seem like this is the best startup to work for. In reality, it's just a typical “Lala company” where most employees have never worked anywhere else and are afraid to leave because they know they won’t get the same authority or, in some cases, are clinging to the hope of getting a stake in the company. There’s no flexibility, no real pay, and no incentives like they promise. If you're serious about your career, you’d be better off doing an unpaid internship where at least you have the chance to learn and grow, rather than wasting your time here, stuck in endless WhatsApp chats with no actual skill development. Don’t make the mistake of joining.

Pros

1. You will absolutely learn to work under pressure and constant deadlines. 2. Your typing speed may increase due to excessive work, and your concentration may increase.

Cons

1. This company does not provide a work-life balance; they will ask you to work for constant long hours to meet the BIM, which may take 12-13 hours of the day to meet. 2. There are no events, perks, or anything provided here. 3. Lack of proper organization of the team and growth opportunities. Even after months, you will find yourself in the same condition. 4. If you want experience for a few months, you may join it, BUT for the long term, this company is a big NO NO.
