Pros

Great if you're a middle-aged white male who plays golf. Otherwise, not so much.

Cons

Still in the dark ages, technology-wise. For example, in 2011 they were still investigating Linux on z! Really??? People advance on their ability to kiss up to senior management, not on the quality of their work or business achievements. Also, they try to force you to have your investment accounts with Edward Jones, which is very expensive. Jones charges 2% of the dividend payment for the service of re-investing dividends, in addition to high trading fees. As a "benefit," employees receive one free trade every four months - woo hoo! Pay is below market.

Pros

They have allowed the HBA’s (home based associates) to remain remote

Cons

Micromanagers, they say they are okay if you want to apply to another department within the firm but the minute you do it’s like you get a target on your back. The pay doesn’t match the workload and the word is that you have to quit and then come back to make what you should already be getting paid. Benefits are terrible but 401k is pretty good
