Pros
All depends on who will you work with. Your Financial Advisor (boss) is managing how busy and stressful workflow would be, how much bonuses you would have (depends on his branch profitability). I got lucky and I having a very good relationship, profitable established branch. Without knowing industry you can start feeling comfortable doing your job within 3-4 months. Great team support and training.
Cons
A bit expensive insurance, if you want to use full coverage you'll ended up paying $80 weekly which is a lot in my opinion. Sometimes can be boring, but not badly. I got an impression that it's not easy to grow your salary in here. It can be possible by working with 2 financial advisors or gaining some licenses which could take up till 2-4 years (seniority required to be qualified). And pay increase isn't significant.
